The syllabus for each academic subject at Bluewater is planned in accordance with the National Curriculum of England and Wales.

The National Curriculum of England and Wales covers a wide range of teaching requirements and strategies. In order to develop these strategies effectively Bluewater is divided into 3 distinct ‘schools’.
Lower School is the pre-nursery, nursery and reception classes catering for pupils from 18 months to 5 years of age. Pupils may attend on a full time basis or on a part time basis which can be either 2 or 3 full days.
Middle School is the beginning of the student’s Primary education. It caters for pupils from the ages of 5 to 9 (Year 1 to Year 4) and covers what is known in the UK as Key Stage 1 and the first two years of Key Stage 2.
Upper school is for pupils from the ages of 7 to 12 (Year 5 to Year 7) and covers both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
In order to provide such a comprehensive Thai teaching program in acordance with the above regulations, Bluewater offers the following commitment to all it's Thai registered students:
- A minimum of 6 Thai lessons per week for all Thai students above the age of 5
- Fully qualified Thai Teachers
- Timetabling that allows extra Thai lessons within the school day
- Thai teaching resources and strategies to differentiate between individual student language levels
- A commitment to ensure that all Thai pupils follow the correct Thai curriculum and learning standards as laid down by the Thai Ministry of Education
- Extra Thai lessons after school hours
- Parental interaction with the school's dedicated Thai teachers to monitor student progress
- End of term reports and parent evenings
The Thai Ministry of Education requires that International Schools offer their Thai students an additional 50 minutes of Thai teaching per day.
